What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to remove the upper layers of the skin to reveal a smoother and brighter complexion. The scalpel finely exfoliates dead skin cells whilst also removing the fine superficial vellus hair from the face, commonly known as “peach fuzz.”
This treatment will produce a brighter and more youthful glow to the client’s skin, as well as allowing skincare products to be absorbed more easily. Clients also find that their makeup sits more smoothly on their skin and really does leave the face looking flawless. With repeated procedures clients will see improvements in skin texture and skin tone and results being noticeable from day one.
As this is a non invasive treatment, this treatment can be performed on almost all skin types except those with acne.

Course Entry Requirements
Before booking onto this course, you are required to have trained and be competent in an accredited skincare/facial qualification or hold a Level 2 in beauty to understand all the underpinning knowledge and experience needed for advanced facial techniques.
We can help you with this qualification if you require this.
You can choose to add the basic facial course as classroom based or you can purchase our online learning course.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you are unable to attend the course booked, you must let us know a minimum of 14 days before the course date. Failure to provide this may result you not being able to change to another suitable date or a 50% loss of the course fee deducted. Some of our courses are 2 phased learning with home study and exams prior to the course practical days please note this must be completed prior to your practical days.
